A little bit of sunshine

I leave on my annual pilgrimage to Spain on Monday and Im looking forward to the novelty of long hot sunny days followed by long hot sultry nights
.
Nothing, though, can top the feeling of joy and possibility experienced when an Irish summers day dawns sunny and warm.

A field full of wildflowers and butterflies.

The scent of freshly mown grass.

The lazy buzz of insects about their business.

And me, camera at the ready, chasing that perfect shot.
