Brian v The Unions

Social Partnership is over. It ended when Brian Cowan marched into the dail on the morning after talks with the social partners collapsed! His decision to go ahead with the public service levy was the equivalant of giving the Unions the proverbial finger.
Well, lads, the fight is about to begin. The unions have donned their gloves and are punching the air to the approval of their supportive audience.
In Cowans corner a bunch of glum guys in suits shout conflicting instructions and orders about how he should proceed but there are no cheers to be heard.
Yes, Social Partnership is over, the bout is on and the bell has just rang for the first round!
