Is Autumn over already?

I cant believe it..the trees almost bare,
an early snowfall that dusted the Dublin mountains with an unseasonal white
and Christmas Decorations fighting for space with
the bottles of cheap plonk at my local Dunnes!
Somethings not right!
My body clock thinks its mid september.
Opening my credit card bill has given me that 'groundhog day' feeling each month since February.
Im having nightmares about getting lost under an avalanche of overpriced aftershave gift boxes at Boots.
And, OH YEAH, I've still got wind after last years excess of bread sauce, whiskey trifle and mince pies.

Is this what it feels like when the acceleration in the expansion of the universe causes the space time continum to speed up before its swift reversal towards collapse.
Is it the end of the world?
Will we be celebrating last christmas next christmas as time goes into reverse?

I guess what Im trying to say is: "is it just me or is time really flying?"
